Setting Up Storefront Localization

#

PrizeSuite supports customer-facing localization options for storefront pages.

Localization helps merchants display PrizeSuite storefront experiences in a language and direction that fits their customers.

What localization affects #

PrizeSuite localization can affect customer-facing storefront pages and surfaces such as:

  • My Rewards
  • Giveaways
  • Winners
  • Storefront PrizeSuite blocks
  • Customer-facing reward text
  • Language direction on supported PrizeSuite pages

The exact localized content depends on your PrizeSuite setup and enabled storefront features.

Important note #

PrizeSuite storefront localization does not mean the full Shopify admin app is translated into every language.

The embedded PrizeSuite admin experience may remain in English, while customer-facing storefront pages can support localized display options.

Step 1: Open Design settings #

Inside PrizeSuite, go to:

Design

Then open the language, direction, or storefront localization settings if available in your app version.

Step 2: Choose the customer-facing language option #

Select the language option you want for your PrizeSuite storefront pages.

Use the language setting that matches your customer-facing store experience.

Step 3: Choose text direction #

Some languages use left-to-right layout, while others use right-to-left layout.

Choose the correct direction for your customer-facing pages:

  • LTR for left-to-right languages
  • RTL for right-to-left languages such as Arabic

Step 4: Save settings #

After choosing the language and direction options, save your settings.

Then open your storefront PrizeSuite pages to check the result.

Step 5: Test storefront pages #

After saving localization settings, test:

  • My Rewards page
  • Giveaways page
  • Winners page
  • Giveaway details page
  • Any PrizeSuite storefront sections or blocks

Check that the text, spacing, alignment, and page direction look correct.

Recommended testing checklist #

After enabling localization, confirm:

  1. Storefront pages still load correctly.
  2. Text is readable.
  3. Buttons are clear.
  4. Layout direction looks correct.
  5. My Rewards tabs and reward cards display correctly.
  6. Giveaway pages still show the correct campaign information.
  7. Winners page remains easy to read.
  8. Customer actions still work.

Best practices #

For a better localized customer experience:

  • Keep merchant-entered campaign names clear.
  • Check all customer-facing pages after changing language direction.
  • Test on mobile and desktop.
  • Use simple wording for giveaway rules and rewards.
  • Make sure customer support links and navigation still make sense.

Troubleshooting #

If localization does not appear correctly:

  1. Confirm the localization setting is saved.
  2. Refresh the storefront page.
  3. Clear cache if needed.
  4. Confirm the PrizeSuite theme block is on the correct page template.
  5. Test in a private browser window.
  6. Review the page on mobile and desktop.

Next step #

After storefront localization is working, test My Rewards and giveaway pages as a customer.
