Winner announcements help customers see the result of a giveaway campaign.

PrizeSuite can support customer-facing winner display through the Winners page when the page and theme block are set up.

Before publishing winners #

Before publishing a winner announcement, confirm:

  1. The giveaway has ended or is ready for winner announcement.
  2. Participants and tickets were reviewed.
  3. Winners were selected correctly.
  4. Winner information is accurate.
  5. The Winners storefront page is set up.
  6. The announcement matches your giveaway rules.

Set up the Winners page #

To display winner information on your storefront, create and configure the Winners page.

Inside PrizeSuite, go to:

Design → Pages

Create the Winners page if it does not already exist.

Then open:

Shopify Admin → Online Store → Edit theme

Create or select the correct page template and add the PrizeSuite Winners block.

Save the theme and assign the template to the Winners page.

Review the winner display #

Open the Winners page on your storefront and confirm:

  • The page loads correctly
  • Store header and footer are visible
  • Winner content appears clearly
  • Giveaway names are easy to understand
  • Customer-facing information is accurate

What customers may see #

Depending on your setup, customers may see:

  • Giveaway name
  • Winner announcement
  • Winner result
  • Instant win result
  • Campaign result information
  • Related giveaway details

The exact information depends on your PrizeSuite setup and campaign settings.

Communicating with winners #

After selecting winners, you may need to contact them directly depending on your store policy and giveaway rules.

Before contacting winners, confirm:

  • Customer identity
  • Contact information when available
  • Prize details
  • Fulfillment process
  • Any required merchant review

For winner announcements:

  1. Review all entries before announcing.
  2. Keep announcement wording clear.
  3. Avoid publishing incorrect or incomplete customer information.
  4. Confirm the Winners page works before sharing it.

Troubleshooting #

If the Winners page does not show results:

  1. Confirm the Winners page exists.
  2. Confirm the PrizeSuite Winners block is added.
  3. Confirm the page template is assigned correctly.
  4. Confirm the giveaway has selected or announced winners.
  5. Save the Shopify Theme Editor.
  6. Refresh the storefront page and PrizeSuite admin.
