Use these settings carefully so customers understand how they can enter and how many tickets they can receive.
What are giveaway tickets? #
Giveaway tickets are customer entries connected to a giveaway campaign.
A customer may receive one or more tickets depending on the campaign rules, purchase flow, quantity, and settings configured by the merchant.
Common ticket settings #
PrizeSuite giveaway ticket settings may include:
- Maximum number of tickets
- Ticket numbering format
- Tickets per purchase
- Customer entry limits
- Quantity-based ticket assignment
- Automatic ticket assignment
- Customer-selected ticket options, if enabled
- Instant win settings, if enabled
Maximum tickets #
The maximum tickets setting controls the total number of tickets available for a giveaway.
Choose a number that fits your campaign size and your expected order volume.
For your first giveaway, use a smaller number so you can test the full flow easily.
Ticket numbering #
Ticket numbering controls how ticket numbers appear to customers and merchants.
Use a clear numbering format so tickets are easy to read in:
- Participants
- My Rewards
- Winner selection
- Customer-facing giveaway history
Customer entry limits #
Entry limits help control how many times a customer can participate.
Use customer limits when you want to avoid one customer receiving too many entries.
Automatic assignment #
Automatic ticket assignment lets PrizeSuite assign tickets to eligible customers after the customer completes the required action or purchase.
This is the simplest option for most merchants.
Customer-selected tickets #
If customer-selected tickets are enabled, customers may be able to choose available ticket numbers during the entry flow.
Use this only when it fits your campaign style and you have tested the flow carefully.
Instant win tickets #
If Instant Win is enabled, some tickets may be connected to instant win rewards.
Use clear campaign rules so customers understand whether instant win rewards are available.
Recommended setup for first giveaway #
For your first giveaway, keep ticket settings simple:
- Use automatic ticket assignment.
- Use a clear maximum ticket number.
- Use simple ticket numbering.
- Avoid advanced ticket behavior until the first test is complete.
- Test the full customer flow before launch.
Testing ticket settings #
After saving the giveaway, test the flow and confirm:
- Tickets are assigned correctly
- Ticket numbers display correctly
- Participants show the correct entry information
- My Rewards shows the customer’s tickets
- Winner selection can read the ticket data correctly
