This guide explains how to create your first giveaway campaign in PrizeSuite.
A giveaway campaign lets customers earn entries or tickets through eligible purchases, then lets you manage participants and select winners from inside the PrizeSuite admin.
Step 1: Open Giveaways #
Inside PrizeSuite, go to:
Giveaways
Click the button to create a new giveaway.
Step 2: Add giveaway details #
Enter the main giveaway information, such as:
- Giveaway name
- Giveaway image
- Campaign description
- Start date
- End date
- Giveaway status
- Display options
Use a clear title and image so customers understand what they can win.
Step 3: Choose the giveaway type #
Set up how customers can enter the giveaway.
PrizeSuite supports purchase-based giveaway flows where customers receive entries or tickets after eligible purchases.
Depending on your setup, the giveaway may be connected to a product or use a standalone giveaway checkout product.
Step 4: Configure ticket rules #
Set the ticket or entry rules for the giveaway.
You can configure settings such as:
- Ticket amount
- Ticket numbering
- Maximum tickets
- Customer entry limits
- Purchase-based entry rules
- Instant win options, if enabled
Keep the rules simple for your first campaign so it is easy to test.
Step 5: Configure display settings #
Review the storefront display options for the giveaway.
These settings control how giveaway information appears to customers, including sections, labels, images, and visibility options.
Step 6: Save or publish the giveaway #
When the setup is ready, save the giveaway.
Before sending traffic to the page, open the storefront preview and confirm the customer-facing giveaway page looks correct.
Step 7: Test the customer flow #
Before launching publicly, test the full flow:
- Open the giveaway page.
- Confirm the giveaway details load correctly.
- Complete the intended customer entry or purchase flow.
- Confirm entries or tickets are created after a valid order.
- Open PrizeSuite → Participants and check that the participant appears.
- Open My Rewards as a customer and confirm the giveaway activity appears.
Step 8: Monitor participants #
After launch, use the Participants section to review entries, tickets, customers, and order activity.
Step 9: Select winners #
When the giveaway ends, use the Winners tools inside PrizeSuite to manage winner selection and announcements.
Recommended first giveaway checklist #
Before launching your first giveaway, confirm:
- PrizeSuite billing or trial is active
- My Rewards, Giveaways, and Winners pages are created
- Theme app blocks are added
- The giveaway page loads on the storefront
- Ticket or entry rules are correct
- Test order or test flow works
- Participants appear in the admin
- My Rewards shows customer activity
