Notifications #

The Notifications settings allow administrators to configure email notifications sent by PrizeSuite during important giveaway events. These emails help administrators stay informed when campaigns are created, winners are selected, and prizes are processed.

Administrators can also customize the email sender information and the content of each notification template.

Admin Notification Settings #

Enable Email Notifications #

Enable or disable all PrizeSuite email notifications. When enabled, the system will automatically send email alerts for key giveaway events.

Admin Recipient #

The email address that will receive administrative notifications related to giveaways.

From Name #

The sender name displayed in notification emails. This should usually be the name of your website or brand.

From Email #

The email address used to send notification emails.

Important: The domain of this email should match your website domain to improve deliverability and avoid spam filtering.

Email Delivery Method #

Defines how emails are sent from the system.

• Server App Password — Recommended method using SMTP authentication.
• Other methods may be available depending on server configuration.

SMTP Username #

The username used to authenticate with the email server.

SMTP App Password #

The application password used to authenticate email sending. This is typically generated from your email provider’s security settings.

Email Templates #

PrizeSuite includes several built-in email templates for different giveaway events. Each template can be enabled, customized, and tested directly from this page.

Giveaway Created #

Sent when a new giveaway campaign is created.

This notification helps administrators track new campaigns added to the system.

Winner Selected #

Sent when the system selects a winner for a giveaway campaign.

The email includes important information about the winner and the associated campaign.

Winner Contacted #

Sent when the administrator updates the workflow status to indicate that the winner has been contacted.

This notification confirms that communication with the winner has started.

Order Completed #

Sent when a giveaway-related order has been completed.

This helps administrators monitor successful purchases that generate giveaway entries.

Email Placeholders #

Email templates support dynamic placeholders that automatically insert relevant information into the email content.

Common placeholders include:

• {site_name} — Website name
• {site_url} — Website URL
• {giveaway_name} — Giveaway campaign title
• {winner_name} — Name of the selected winner
• {ticket_number} — Winning ticket number
• {order_id} — WooCommerce order ID
• {date_time} — Date and time of the event

Testing Notifications #

Each email template includes a Send Test button that allows administrators to send a test email and verify that the configuration works correctly.

This is useful when setting up email delivery for the first time.

Saving Changes #

After modifying notification settings or email templates, click Save Changes to apply the updates.
