General Settings #
The General Settings section contains the core configuration for a giveaway campaign. These options control the campaign schedule, ticket capacity, ticket numbering, purchase limits, discounts, and ticket generation behavior.
Giveaway Title #
The internal name of the giveaway. This title is required and is used in the admin list, search, and reports.
Start date/time #
The date and time when the giveaway becomes active. Entries will only be issued for purchases once the giveaway is active.
End date/time #
The date and time when the giveaway ends. After the end time, the giveaway stops accepting new entries.
Unlimited duration #
When enabled, the giveaway will not have an end date. This is useful for ongoing campaigns.
Note: When enabled, the countdown display is automatically disabled.
Maximum tickets (this giveaway) #
The maximum number of tickets that can be issued for this giveaway. Once this limit is reached, no more tickets can be generated.
Tip: The giveaway can end early if the maximum number of tickets is sold.
Minimum tickets to allow winner selection #
The minimum number of tickets that must be sold before winner selection is allowed. This helps prevent selecting winners when participation is too low.
Quantity discounts #
Enable and configure quantity-based discounts for ticket purchases. When enabled, customers receive a discount based on the quantity they buy in a single order.
Enable quantity-based discounts #
Turns on quantity discount rules for this giveaway.
Discount rules #
Each rule defines a quantity threshold and a discount percentage:
- Quantity — The number of tickets the customer must purchase in one order.
- Discount % — The discount applied when the quantity threshold is met.
You can add up to 4 rules. Discount rules help increase larger purchases by rewarding higher quantities.
Ticket Price #
Read-only. The ticket price is synced from the linked WooCommerce product price. To change it, edit the WooCommerce product pricing.
Ticket Starting number #
Sets the first ticket number used by the giveaway. For example, if the starting number is 1, ticket numbering begins at 1.
Note: This field supports leading zeros for certain numbering modes (example: 00, 01, 09).
Ticket Numbering Mode #
Controls how ticket numbers are assigned to customers.
Sequential (default) #
Tickets are assigned in order (for example: #001, #002, #003). This is predictable and easy to track.
Shuffled (random unused tickets) #
Tickets are assigned randomly from the pool of unused ticket numbers. This makes ticket assignment less predictable while ensuring no duplicates.
Max ticket per order #
Optional. Limits how many tickets a customer can buy in a single purchase (one order). This helps prevent very large single orders.
Max ticket per user #
Limits the total number of tickets a single user can purchase across the entire giveaway campaign. This helps ensure fair participation and prevents one user from buying too many tickets.
Preset default quantity #
Optional. Sets the default quantity shown to customers when they view the giveaway product.
Default: 1
Promotional bonus tickets #
Enable automatic bonus tickets when customers purchase a certain quantity. This can be used as a promotion to increase sales and encourage larger purchases.
Enable automatic bonus tickets #
Turns on promotional bonus ticket rules for this giveaway.
Bonus rule #
Defines when bonus tickets are granted:
- When sales reach X% — The threshold required to trigger the bonus.
- Give Y bonus tickets — The number of bonus tickets awarded when the threshold is reached.
Time to Reserve the ticket in add to cart #
Controls how long tickets remain reserved in the cart before being released back into availability.
This prevents tickets from being held indefinitely if a customer abandons checkout.
The value is measured in minutes.
Ticket Generation Settings #
Controls how ticket numbers are assigned during purchase.
Automatic #
PrizeSuite automatically assigns ticket numbers based on the selected numbering mode (Sequential or Shuffled).
User choose the ticket #
Customers can choose their ticket number during purchase (when supported by the giveaway configuration). This is useful for campaigns where customers want to select specific numbers.
